Getting Started with OneSearch
Start at the Rosen Library’s homepage (http://library.ucf.edu/rosen). You will see the library OneSearch box at the top of the page:
- Type your search terms in the search box. You may limit your results further after you run your initial search. For more assistance with advanced search options, Ask a Rosen Librarian for help.
- For off-campus access to online articles and ebooks you will need your UCF ID and PID.
- We can also retrieve materials that are not available at UCF from other libraries. See the Research Guide on Interlibrary Loan for more information on this service.
Other Resources
Please know that while OneSearch is a good starting point, it does not contain everything available in the UCF Libraries. Additional resources are available for certain types of research, such as company and business research. The following are just a few of the databases that are not included in OneSearch:
- ABI/Inform
- Dissertations & Theses Full Text (ProQuest)
- Hoovers
- NetAdvantage (S&P)
For a complete list of which databases are fully, partially, or not loaded into OneSearch, please see the Databases Research Guide. If you do not get the results you need when searching in OneSearch, please Ask a Rosen Librarian for assistance.
