Graduate Study Rooms

The UCF Library houses a number of individual Graduate Study Rooms on the 3rd Floor. These rooms help provide workspace for graduate students, while also maintaining an atmosphere conducive to quiet study. There are also a limited number of group study rooms with 6-person capacity.  Since there are a limited number of Graduate Study Rooms, a four hour time limit is enforced.

Graduate Study Rooms are only available to currently enrolled UCF Graduate students. A valid UCF ID card is required without exception for checkout at the main floor circulation desk.

Rooms can be reserved up to 7 days in advanced.  To read the policies and to reserve a graduate study room online, click on the link Faculty and Graduate Study Rooms.

Interlibrary Loan & Document Delivery

Through Interlibrary Loan (ILL), the UCF Libraries will borrow materials that it doesn’t own from other libraries. If you need a book or article that cannot be found in our library, you can borrow it through ILL.

Graduate Students are also eligible for Document Delivery Services, in which the UCF library pulls books and scans articles that are owned by the library. These services include the following:

  • All articles owned by the UCF Libraries in print or electronic form will be scanned and delivered to your ILLiad/UBorrow account as an easily-downloadable PDF.
  • All books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes owned by the UCF Libraries will be pulled from the shelf and left for pickup at the Circulation Desk. If you take classes at a branch or regional campus, we will send it to your location for pickup.
  • All requests will be processed in less than 1 business day, unless staff are unable to locate the item on our shelves. In these rare cases, it may take an extra day or two to process your request.

Login or create your account through ILLiad.

UBorrow is a quick way to order books from all 40 state universities and colleges in Florida. Search for a book by subject, author, or title in the library catalog.
