This Research Guide is designed to support your teaching. You can use it to book a library instruction class for your students (and be happier with their research papers) or to browse our newly-obtained titles. Links to other Research Guides - which cover everything from proper citation formatting to the resources of UCF's Curriculum Materials Center - are here as well! Research Guides can be embedded in your Canvas courses, or the persistent URL to any Research Guide can be included in your syllabi. (The URL for each Guide is located at the bottom.) Please explore our many library resources which will help you help your students in their research.
Monday through Thursday:
7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.*
*Library hours of operation are subject to revision during time periods between semesters and over the summer term.
You can limit your search to titles located at the Sanford/Lake Mary campus, or you can search the university-wide catalog for books. When you find a title at another location you'd like to obtain, you can request delivery to this campus.
Online Research Guides can support your teaching by providing students with easy-to-follow information on accessing course/subject specific research tools, such as databases. They have a persistent link, so are easily embedded in Canvas classes, or can be shared via class syllabi. This is a Research Guide. Note that the URL for it is located along the bottom of the screen, just to the right of the "Last Updated" info.
Research Guides are prepared by UCF Librarians to assist students, so they are specific to our library services and holdings. Feel welcome to share these links with your students. Here's the list:
Did your student find the "perfect" article for your research, but it's not linked to full text? Is there a book at another UCF location, or at another university library that you'd like to request? Interlibrary loan and "U Borrow" are designed for just those kinds of situations! Click the link to learn more, and to create an account.
