The UCF College of Graduate Studies maintains an electronic thesis and dissertation (ETD) gateway which details specific information about UCF's ETD processes, requirements, services and deadlines, as well as other helpful ETD resources and materials. Please refer to the ETD gateway for information regarding Formatting the ETD, Thesis and Dissertation Process, Thesis and Dissertation Policies, University ETD Deadlines, ETD Workshops and Campus Resources, Publisher and Copyright Issues, Binding Vendors, Final Semester Checklists, and ETD Office Contact Information.
Assistance is available for ETD preparation and creation. Students should plan to attend the Thesis and Dissertation 101 Workshop and Microsoft Word for ETD Workshop.
The Office of Instructional Resources (OIR) provides graduate students use of the Faculty Multimedia Center (FMC) and the Digital Image Processing Lab (DIPL) free of charge for production and preparation of Electronic Theses and Dissertations (ETDs) and related components including scanning, PDF creation and conversion of existing files into acceptable formats. Online video tutorials are available on the Formatting the ETD page.
