This session highlights time-saving strategies to locate sources for upcoming assignments, research projects and literature reviews. Learn how to navigate library website options, access peer reviewed journals and discipline-specific databases, and use common search strategies and options to maximize Google Scholar.  

Zoom Sessions

Can you use any image you find online in your presentation? Do you need to get permission to use a chart or graphic for your thesis or dissertation? These are just a few of the questions that we will explore in this session focused on the ethical and legal use of copyrighted images, graphics, and other visual materials. Attendees will learn about copyright basics with a specific focus on visual works and how to be good stewards of copyrighted content created by others. 

Zoom Sessions

Citation management tools like EndNote & Zotero allow you to save and organize citations and PDFs for course assignments and research projects. They also provide options to annotate saved PDFs and insert citations and references within Word & Google Docs as you write.
