The Women’s and Gender Studies program, the Office of Diversity and Inclusion, and the John C. Hitt Library are sponsoring a craft workshop in memory of those impacted by breast cancer. Participants will decorate bras and write memory cards to be displayed at the John C. Hitt Library (main wall) during the month of March 2018 - Women’s History Month.

- Women's History Month at UCFThe 2018 UCF Women’s History Month follows the theme established by the National Women’s History Month Project: #NEVERTHELESS SHE PERSISTED: Honoring Women Who Fight All Forms of Discrimination Against Women.
The UCF community of faculty, students, and staff are joining together to celebrate women’s history month and to highlight women’s achievements and challenges to gender equity. The national women’s history month project began in the 1970’s; the U.S. Congress declared March as national women’s history month in 1987. This effort is intended to promote UCF traditions honoring women faculty, staff, and students, and encourage the entire campus to use March 2018 as a platform for recognizing and improving the lives of women affiliated with our campus.
