See these short videos with instructions and demonstrations for Finding Books using Primo Search and How to Request a Book either from 1) the ARC, or 2) the library shelves..

  • If you are unsure of the exact title or unsure of the correct Library of Congress subject heading, try a KEYWORD search using two or three of the most significant words from the title or subject you are trying to find.

To search for videos, use Primo Search on the Libraries home page and select Videos from the drop-down menu.

  • To limit by FORMAT to find multimedia, go to the Advanced Search and use "Video/Film" for Material Type
  • To search for DVDs, video cassettes, and film, set Format to Video (all formats).
  • See the streaming video Finding Videos for a quick demonstration of searching the library catalog to find media.

Help finding books

Finding ebooks using Primo Search is a video that will show you how to search for ebooks owned by the library

See the Borrowing from other libraries video in the event the library does not have the book you are looking for. If you do not have an account with Interlibrary Loan, you will instantly be directed to a registration form.

To search for books at other libraries, choose Statewide Catalog in Primo Search or use the WorldCat.database to look outside the state of Florida
