InterLibrary Loan
Students may obtain both UCF and non-UCF library materials such as books, journal articles, etc. using the UCF Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service. UCF’s Interlibrary Loan Service is now using a centralized requesting system. If you are a distance Learner, you must pre-register every semester with the Library Express Delivery (LEDS) program by clicking on the Register for LED button in order to qualify for home delivery of physical items such as books.
You can sign up and request to borrow books and retrieve electronic versions of journal articles by visiting the ILL website: http://library.ucf.edu/ILL.
InterLibrary Loan provides forms for requesting articles and books. You also can review each of your requests and track its progress towards completion. You will now find a blank ILL request form button at the top of the search box in the Primo Search. You will also find an ILL button embedded in the Primo Everything Search.
To view your outstanding requests, renew books, view your articles, see due dates, click on the Sign in Button that is located at the top right of the search box in the library catalog. Login to your account. Items may or may not be eligible for renewal. Items that cannot be renewed appear in Red.
Many of the subscription databases provide links to the ILL article request form via “Find @ UCF” button for artices which are not available full text online.
Once you are in the Primo record, click on the "ILL - Request from Other Libraries" link. Make sure to choose a location when filling out the form.
Articles will be delivered to your email account. Refer to the Interlibrary Loan webpage https://library.ucf.edu/services/ill/ for details regarding the Interlibrary Loan service and their policies, or contact the Interlibrary Loan office email illbor@mail.ucf.edu or, by phone at (407) 823-2383.
