Reuters is one of the leading sources of news and information around the world.

ZDNet delivers news and analysis on the trends and technologies that are important to IT professionals in today's world.  They report on hot topics such as security, Open Source software, the Cloud, hardware, and emerging techologies, as well as companies such as Apple and Google.

That National Nanotechnology Initiative (NNI) was launched in 2000 and consists of 26 Federal agencies with wide-ranging research and regulatory roles.

National Public Radio's "All Tech Considered" is a weekly feature on their afternoon news program, "All Things Considered," and a blog of the same name updated daily online.  Their blog is a self-described "human perspective on technology" ("FAQ," 2012).
