Library Services for Students with Disabilities

describes various equipment, services, and information resources to assist those with hearing, visual, or learning disabilities

Parking directions

Wheelchair accessibility

Six computer workstations have adjustable tables to provide wheelchair accessibility.  Four are available on the 2nd (main) floor near the Research & Information Desk, the others are on the 4th floor.  All the restrooms in the back half of the building (the section facing the Student Union and the new addition) have been renovated to be fully accessible.

Six of our study rooms have sufficient room for wheelchair turn around.  See our Study Room Reservations Procedures to locate a room; reservations may be placed up to 7 days in advance.

Reaching materials

There are rolling KiKSteps(R) distributed throughout the library's shelved collections.  For those desiring a more sturdy, easily portable solution, there is a folding stepstool stored behind the Research & Information Desk on the 2nd floor.

If these two solutions are unsafe due to balance, vertigo, or other issues, please contact our circulation department for assistance.
