EndNote Online is a Web-based service designed to help students and researchers through the process of writing a research paper. You will have FREE access to the full version of EndNote Online as it is included in our database access to Web of Science.
EndNote21 UCF IT has reactivated the software license for EndNote, the reference management tool, for all UCF students, faculty and staff to use free of charge.
If you previously had EndNote installed and activated on your computer, you may access it as before. If you have not yet installed EndNote, submit the following Service Now form for assistance with downloading the most current version.
Zotero is a free reference management system where you can collect, manage, cite, and share research. You can use it to store references, highlight and annotate webpages, and collaborate by using groups through Zotero's website. All your references will be saved to the Zotero server. Zotero works with word processors (e.g. MS Word, Openoffice, and Word Perfect) so you can insert citations into research papers and create bibliographies from your saved citations.

Mendeley is a free reference manager and academic social network that serves as an information system to support research. It can help you discover, access, manage and share references and research data, collaborate with others online, showcase your latest research, find funding, and identify career opportunities.

APA style for documentation is widely used in the behavioral and social sciences, including psychology, sociology, economics, education, nursing, social work, and criminal justice. APA style prescribes a set of requirements for the formatting of a research paper. While the manual gives specific rules and examples, there may be a need at times for interpretation of the guidelines. Consultation with your professor about the specifics of APA style is always recommended.
The University Writing Center offers consultations online, via Zoom, a web-based teleconferencing software. We recommend that you download the Zoom application software and install it on your computer, phone, or tablet to attend meetings.
