Method for Web Archiving
There may be times where you'd like to archive your portfolio for preservation purposes. Perhaps you plan some major changes but want to have a record of the original version; or, your program coordinator wants a copy but you don't plan on keeping the page live, updated, and online forever.
To preserve your portfolio in it's current state you can use the Save Page Now feature from Wayback Machine from the Internet Archive.
- Visit https://archive.org/web/
- Enter your portfolio's URL in the "Save Page Now" box
- Repeat for each individual web page URL in your portfolio
To access your archived content:
- Visit https://archive.org/web/
- Enter the URL for your portfolio and click "Browse History"
- View each capture by date
