Fake News & Fact Checking

Not Fake News

There is a difference between fake news that is intended to mislead the reader and real news coverage that may have a liberal or conservative focus. It can be helpful to follow the same news story from multiple sources to capture various perspectives.

Real news sources may occasionally have errors in reporting, but that is not fake news unless the source persists in promulgating the information after it has been clearly proven false. Real news sources address their worst errors in reporting with corrections, retractions, or apologies.
