Presentation: Hot Topics: LibGuides - Part 1: Getting Started: Adding Content

Part 1 of an Ask A Librarian webinar hosted by Tampa Bay Library Consortium on October 4, 2011

Description of Webinar

The ability to help users navigate through a library's online environment is a huge focal point in today's reference. As more of our member libraries add LibGuides links to their KnowledgeBase entries, Ask a Librarian staff across Florida are able to utilize these electronic pathfinders to more effectively help those libraries' users.

What is LibGuides? How do libraries add or manage content that will optimally assist their users (or the librarians helping them)? And how are librarians using LibGuides in the real world, anyway?

Part 1 - Getting Started: Adding Content

Part 2 - Best Practices: Organization & Arrangement
