This fellowship is designed to assist faculty with creating renewable assignments (all of which will carry a Creative Commons license) to help students become agents of change in their own communities. Fellowship teams will include 2 to 3 instructors from different disciplines and different campuses or institutions to maximize student impact. Each team will design three renewable assignments in Summer 2025. Faculty fellows will deploy (a minimum of) two renewable assignments in courses during Fall 2025. Prior to deployment, fellows will be expected to present on their proposed assignments. A student showcase will take place during Spring 2026 (tentatively set for February/March 2026) in which a select number of students will present on how they improved their communities and achieved global justice through the UN SDG framework.
Questions should be directed to Rebecca McNulty (rebecca.mcnulty@ucf.edu) and Lily Dubach (lily@ucf.edu), the faculty mentors for UCF. For additional information, visit Montgomery College's Information Page: United Nations Sustainable Development Goals Open Pedagogy Fellowship
The deadline for application submission is 11:59pm March 31, 2025.
