Philosophy at UCF

The Department of Philosophy is part of the UCF College of Arts and Humanities and houses majors, minors, and graduate certificates in Philosophy, Humanities, Religious Studies, and Cognitive Sciences.

"...aims to cultivate an institutional culture of ethical literacy, including a unified and ongoing conversation about ethics and a habit of practical application around ethics in research, teaching and partnerships" (website).

The Center (CHDR) initiates and supports both advanced research and teaching in the humanities and arts, and interdisciplinary scholarship within the humanities and with other disciplines.

The FPR is published once or twice a year (summer and winter) depending on the number of accepted submissions and is a fully electronic, open-access, Internet-based publication of the University of Central Florida Department of Philosophy.
