Translation options for Library Databases
Some of the library databases will give you the option of changing the language of the interface or translating an article. Two of our largest database providers are EBSCOhost and ProQuest. Below you can find links to the help pages that demonstrate how to change the language in those databases.

Online Dictionaries
Merriam-Webster Online: Comprehensive online dictionary and thesaurus, with audio pronunciations.
Oxford English Dictionary: Online dictionary with over 600,000 words and phrases.
Cambridge Dictionaries Online: A dropdown box allows users to choose from among the following Cambridge dictionaries: Advanced Learner's, Learner's, American English, Idioms, and Phrasal Verbs
Word Reference: free bilingual dictionaries from Oxford, also features language forums, in which non-native speakers can ask native speakers their grammar and vocabulary questions
