Federal Energy Regulatory Commission Decisions (Nexis Uni) (1976+)
"The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission file contains consent orders, proposed consent agreements, court orders, letter orders, decisions and opinions from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) is responsible for overseeing the operations of key parts of the energy industries: electric utilities, hydropower facilities, and natural gas and oil pipelines. An independent, five-member commission within the Department of Energy, FERC has retained many of the functions of its predecessor, the Federal Power Commission, such as setting rates and charges for the transportation and sale of natural gas; setting rates for the transmission and sale of electricity; and licensing of hydroelectric power projects. In addition, the Commission establishes rates and charges for the transportation of oil by pipeline, as well as the valuation of such pipelines."
