About Glowforge Pro
Meet our Glowforge, your at-home 3D laser printer that makes magical things at the push of a button. Easily create your very own custom products with a professional laser cutter. You can use many different materials, for instance; leather, acrylic, hardwood, fabric, and more, as long as they are proofgrade (Proofgrade materials are the first materials that are sourced, prepared, encoded, and lab-tested for perfect printing, every time. These materials are specially formulated for the Glowforge 3D laser printer. Here are some things you could make with our Glowforge, once you click the above link, scroll down the page until you see "What Can You print on Your Glowforge?". Glowforge materials are available for purchase in the CMC.

Policies
1. The Library's Glowforge may only be used for lawful purposes. No one is permitted to create material that is:
- Prohibited by local, state, or federal law.
- Unsafe, harmful, dangerous, or poses an immediate threat to the well-being of others.
- Obscene or otherwise inappropriate for the library environment.
- Violation of another's intellectual property rights. For example, you cannot reproduce material subject to copyright, patent.
2. The library reserves the right to refuse any Glowforge request.
3. The library cannot guarantee file print, engrave, or cut ability, nor confidentiality of designs.
4. Responsibility for removing masking is up to the student/faculty/staff.
5. Only designated library employees will have hands-on access to the Glowforge.
6. If using your own materials, you must provide a 2 x 2 sample prior to time of use, so CMC staff can make sure it is safe to use in the Glowforge.
7. Users must stay until project is finished.
