In the section above, I discussed adopting library licensed eBooks with unlimited access as part of our textbook affordability program. A slightly different but related option is the use of Open Education Resources (OERs). Rather than licensing this content, OERs are made freely available through an OER portal or they can be created by the instructor. The Libraries and several offices provide support for faculty interested either in adopting an existing OER or creating their own.
