Branch/Regional Campuses & Distance Learners

Our ILL department provides current all UCF students who are not currently taking classes at UCF's main campus with document delivery services. This includes students taking only online classes, and students taking classes at our regional and satellite campuses. The document delivery services we provide for these students includes the following:

  • All articles owned by the UCF Library in print or electronic form will be scanned and delivered to the patron's ILLiad account as an easily-downloadable PDF.
  • All books, CDs, DVDs, and VHS tapes owned by the UCF Library will be pulled fromthe shelf and sent to the patron's pickup location. For distance learners, items will be mailed to your home address. For students at our regional and satellite campuses, items will be sent to your campus's library and held for pickup there.
  • All articles requests will be process in less than 1 business day, unless we are  unable to locate it on our shelves. In these rare cases, it may take an extra day or two to process your document delivery request.

Please allow 5 to 7 business days for any books, CDs, DVDs, or VHS tapes you request to arrive at your home or campus. If you are a distance learner who lives for away from campus, items may take a few extra days to arrive at your home.

Note: We ask that all distance learners and students at branch and satellite campuses update their ILLiad account whenever there is a change in your pickup location, address, e-mail address, or phone number. We want to make sure that your items reach you, and do not get lost in the mail.

Requests for items items owned by the UCF Library must be submitted as Interlibrary Loan requests through ILLiad. Please contact us if you have any questions about the document delivery services we provide distance learners and students at branch and satellite campuses.
