The Department of Music is a part of the School of Performing Arts within the UCF College of Arts and Humanities. The Department offers a B.A. degree with options in performance and composition; a B.A. degree in music; a B.M.E. degree with specializations in instrumental, choral, and elementary school music; and an M.A. degree in music. The Department is fully accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music (NASM), and its music education programs are approved by the State of Florida Department of Education.
WUCF is a publicly-supported service of UCF. It is comprised of WUCF-TV, a PBS affiliate, which broadcasts a 24-hour television schedule, and WUCF-FM which broadcasts a 24-hour schedule of jazz music and other non-commercial programming.
