ENC 3311 - Expository Writing: 2. Activating your library number

ID Card Activation

If you already have your UCF student ID card and are currently taking classes, your library card number should already be activated. Your library card number allows you to use libraries’ services from off-campus such as searching the electronic databases, accessing the ebooks, and Interlibrary Loan.

To access the electronic databases , go to the UCF Library Homepage http://library.ucf.edu/ and click on Articles and Databases.

Then:

  • Enter your activated Library ID number (your Library ID number is on your UCF card)
  • Enter your password. The new default password is the last 4 digits of your PID.
For example, if your PID is s123456 , then your password is 3456. Help with your PID.
  • Click the Login button, and then click “Yes” to accept the Security Alert(s).

If you have any problems or questions regarding your library number or ID card, call the UCF Orlando Library Circulation Desk at (407) 823-2580 or email the library at circ@mail.ucf.edu for assistance.
