What is Leganto?

Leganto is a course resource management tool that is embedded in Canvas. It allows course instructors quickly and easily to create and manage specialized reading lists for their courses.

 

Why should I use Leganto?

Leganto allows instructors to compile reading lists easily, access library resources, and track student engagement with course materials.

 

Does Leganto benefit students?

Yes! Students can get easier access to their course materials through Leganto. Leganto can also help students to save money on their course resources.

 

What types of materials can I include on my Leganto list?

Leganto supports a wide range of materials that you might want your students to engage with. This includes books, articles, videos, documents, class notes, podcasts, web pages, and more.

 

Are items in Leganto accessible?

Yes, Leganto is designed to be accessible. If you upload an accessible document, it will stay so in Leganto.

 

What kind of help is available for Leganto?

Leganto has a built-in set of instructions and training videos on common topics. These can be found by clicking on the Help button (question mark icon) at the top right of the page.
