College Democrats at UCF LGBT Caucus -- "The UCF College Democrats Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender (LGBT) Caucus works to engage LGBT students in the Democratic Party. Caucus leaders coordinate efforts with the FCD’s LGBT Leadership Council to help foster the Democratic Party’s culture of openness and acceptance." 

Delta Lambda Phi Fraternity -- "Since 1986, Delta Lambda Phi (DLP) has offered gay, bisexual, and progressive men across the nation the opportunity to grow in the true spirit of brotherhood -- one that embraces diversity and respects the value of all."

EQUAL at UCF (formerly Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual Student Union - GLBSU) -- "GLBSU's vision is a campus environment where GLBTQ students can feel both a sense of self-worth and pride in their individual diversity and a sense of community and belonging, and where all students can expect to be treated equally, regardless of their actual or perceived sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression."

GLBT Alumni Chapter -- "Through scholarships, mentoring, social events and professional networking, the GLBT chapter aims to unite students, alumni, faculty, staff, family and friends who are working together for a more inclusive future."

LGBTQ Services -- "The mission of Lesbian Gay Bisexual Transgender Questioning/Queer (LGBTQ) Services is to connect our diverse student population to opportunities, resources, and each other to achieve the vision of a stronger, healthier, and more equitable world for LGBTQ people and its allies. LGBTQ strives to support the community by:

  • Fostering greater opportunities for students to succeed at UCF.
  • Help organize programs and experiences geared toward educating the UCF community.
  • Creating a forum where LGBTQ history and culture is acknowledged and celebrated.
  • Creating a space where resources can be created and explored in the future."

Office of Diversity Initiatives provides comprehensive diversity education, training, consultation, curriculum transformation, programming, and prejudice reduction experiences, to support the University's goal of becoming more inclusive and diverse. Several of the training sessions include discussion about sexual orientation.

O-QUAC (Orlando Queer Academics) "is a resource, organizational, and social group for GLBT academics and intellectuals. We meet on a regular basis in order to exchange resources and talk about our work in areas of sexuality, gender, and queer studies."

Pride Virtual Resource Center -- "Our goal is for this site to be the place that you routinely go to when you need information on LGBT issues and opportunities. Through the links on the site, you'll find helpful information for allies as well as resources for our LGBT students, employees and community."

UCF Counseling Center -- "The staff at the University of Central Florida Counseling Center have a commitment to providing a safe, welcoming environment for all students regardless of their gender, ethnicity, race, culture, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, national origin, age, physical and mental abilities, and/or socioeconomic status."

UCF Safe Zone (formerly UCF Allies) "is a program created by therapists at Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) designed in partnership with LGBTQ Services and the Office of Diversity Initiatives for UCF students, staff and faculty members interested in showing visual support for gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or Questioning (GLBTQ) persons at the university.  Members of the LGBTQ+ community, allies, and people wanting to learn more about LGBTQ+ issues are encouraged to attend our UCF Safe Zone trainings.  The goal of these training sessions is to promote a safe and welcoming environment across the UCF campus for people who may identify as LGBTQ+."
