Health and Psychosocial Instruments (HAPI) is an Ebsco database that provides information from 1985 to the present about behavioral measurement instruments, such as questionnaires, interview schedules, coding schemes/manuals, rating scales, and tests. The full text of the measurement instruments are not included but you can locate information on tests and track their history.
The default is the Advanced Search, which allows you to enter a keyword or phrase. The Select a Field option allows you to change fields for more precise searching.
For each search, brief records are displayed. You can click on the Abstract (when offered) to read a synopsis of the article. Get Full Text provides direct links to full text when available. You can click on UCF Library Catalog to determine if paper or electronic versions of the journal are available. Results can be emailed or saved while you are in the database.
Click on Help (upper right corner) to get a comprehensive explanation of the database’s features.
