The new Springer Link combines Springer Link with Kluwer Online. It includes the full text of articles from more than 1,000 journals. It also provides access to journals and book series in: biomedicine, life science, clinical medicine, physics, engineering, mathematics, computer science, humanities, and economics.
From the welcome screen, you can search for Articles, Publications, or Publishers by Keyword or press the Advanced Search button.
The Advanced Search screen provides the options of searching for Articles by Citation (publication), Articles by Text, CrossRef Searches, and Publications.
CrossRef is a pilot service, which uses Google to find scholarly publications from participating publishers.
Click on Viewable Articles Only to limit to journal titles under UCF’s paid subscriptions.
Boolean operators, and, or, and not as well as the proximity operator, near, are supported.
A single asterisk (*) searches for words with the same prefix. Two asterisks (**) finds all forms of a word (e.g., sink also retrieves sunk).
To search for a phrase, select the Exact Phrase option.
From the Full Record or Results Field, click on the Volume/Issue hyperlink to get to the appropriate journal’s web page. Find the article you need and click on its title. If the article is available in full text, the procedures to follow will be on the right. SFX is not an option.
